custard with fruits

The easiest and delicious dessert ....Custard with fruits.



cooking time : 30 min

Required ingredients :
Whole Milk : 1/2Ltr
Cool milk : 1/4 Cup
Custard powder : 3 tbsp
Sugar : 8 tsp (you can change according to your sweet taste)
Fruits like banana, apple, grapes etc. or any seasonal fruits
cashew nuts and badam which r fried in ghee(optional)

step 1 : first boil the milk with sugar for 20 to 25 minutes stirr it continuously ,in the mean while dilute the custard powder in half cup of milk.
step2 : after boiling milk switch of the heat.then add diluted custared powder and again boil for 5 minute then the mixture becomes thick.

step3 : let it freeze for 3 to 4 hrs completely and add all fruits before serving .

Required ingredients:
Chicken-1lb
Basmati rice-1lb(washed & soaked in water for 15 minutes)
Onions-1 large onion thinly sliced
Cardamoms-5small
Cinnamon-2sticks
Cloves-6
StarAnise-2
Shan mashala 1/2 packet(from indian stores)
Thick curd-1cup
Red chilli powder-2tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Ginger garlic paste-2tsp
lime juice - 2tsp
A bunch cilantro&mint leaves.
Ghee/oil-1/4cupSaffron strands dissolved in warm milk

Marination -
Marinate the meat with red chilli powder,shan mashala powder,curd, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste,lime juice and keep it in refregirator from 2 to 4hrs.

Preparing the curry:
In a pan pour oil and fry the sliced onions till brown & crisp, add some gingergarlic paste if u want and add the meat mixture, now check the salt and add according to your taste.

Preparation of rice:
Take a large pan add 1tsb of oil ,when the oil is hot add 3cardamoms, 1cinnamon stick, 3cloves, 1staranise,(2 to 3 green chillis optional) and basmati rice .fry all ingredients for 5 minutes and add water,coook the rice until 3/4done.drain & set aside.

layering :
Heat ghee in a thick-bottomed dish first add rice then add the curry then again add rice.. and so on .over it drizzle little ghee saffron milk. Remaining onions cilantro&mint leaves. Cover the dish with foil& cover with heavy lid & cook on dum for 30-40mts on a very low heat. Serve with raita.

boondhi laddu

Hi friends in my first post i want to let u know about the preparation of boondhi ladoo which is a delicious sweet of india.




required ingredients -
besan(senagapindi) - 1 cup
sugar - 1cup
water - 1cup
cashew and raisins
cardomom or elachi - 2 to 3 powderd and
oil for deep frying.

first heat the oil for deepfrying the boondhi in a vessel , mean while mix water in besan like bajji consistency.now by using boondhi maker make boondhi and keep it aside.

coming to sugar syrup preparation take sugar and water and boil them till single thread consistency and switch off the heat. Fry cashew and raisins. Add Boondi, cashew and raisins to sugar solution and mix.when it is warm Rub some ghee on your palms. Make laddus by squeezing the Boondi in your hands.

Store them in jar, will stay fresh for 6to 7 days.
